I’ve watched plenty of your videos and they’re so helpful! I am entering pharmacy school next year and had a question or looking for advice. What do you think about an MBA or Masters of Public Health dual degree along with the PharmD, or how would these be most utilized? I want to do more than a standard retail pharmacist, but am not sure what exactly. Any insight or advice would be appreciated, thanks!

Thats a good question! Generally I see people with an MBA or Masters of Public Health in the academic setting, management in hospitals or management in general in the pharmacy field, or working in the managed care setting (health insurance companies). I think its a good idea if you want to be more than just a staff pharmacist or clinical pharmacist. It will benefit you in the long run to move up the ladder if these are your goals. Hope that helps! Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

Just stopping by to thank you for your blog as well as your video posts on YouTube. I just graduated with a Bachelors in Health Science and will be starting pharmacy school in Philadelphia. All of your information has been really helpful for where I am in the whole process. I appreciate it immensely!
